CUE East at the University of East Anglia is hosting a training day run by the Ketso team around workshop planning skills in Norwich.
In this interactive, hands-on training you will gain experience and skills in planning and running a workshop and managing group processes. You will have an opportunity to experience a ‘speed’ workshop in an area of interest to the participants and to plan a workshop in an area of your choosing. The day will be led by Dr. Joanne Tippett, the founder of Ketso and a lecturer at the University of Manchester. Ketso is a hands-on toolkit for creative engagement, and a spin-off from Joanne’s research into community development in Southern Africa and the UK. The toolkit is being used for: engaging with the public; research development and data gathering; teaching and learning; team meetings and forward planning and skills development. With its colourful, reusable shapes, Ketso is accessible to all. When everyone is engaged, we are more creative, productive and committed. With this ‘workshop in a bag’ plus a growing library of free resources and workshop plans, you have decades of practical research and experimentation at your fingertips.
