The Crescent Network was formed by a group of early career academics who felt that public engagement should be a central part of the role of a modern researcher. Taking research out of lecture theatres and into local venues, the Crescent Network is an informal way of learning new things and meeting new people.
This session is being held at Islington Mill and will include dinner.
Islington Mill is a former cotton spinning mill in Salford, close to Manchester’s city centre and a cultural haven to artists that has evolved over the past ten years.
Of particular interest to: researchers and research networks (especially early career researchers) and community groups interested in research.
Please note travel expenses for third/voluntary sector unwaged guests will be covered by the Manchester Beacon. Please bring your travel ticket with you to be reimbursed on the day.
